Every row and column in this grid, containing only squares of prime numbers, sums to the same number (5691). A square with this property is called pseudomagic or orthomagic. To be a genuine magic square, the diagonals, too, must sum up to this constant, which unfortunately is not the case here.

In fact, is is still an open question whether or not there exists veritable magic 3×3 squares containing only squares. Read more info about this quest here.
