This story sounds like a plot of a horror movie but what occurred is very much real. In 2012, 1.5 litres of human blood was discovered inside a playhouse at Riverwood Primary School. An investigation showed that the blood belonged to that of a male and authorities believe the victim to be a child or at least a small male. Due to the high amount of blood, it is evident that this was not from a school yard fight, but as authorities believe, a murder - “We’re not talking a punch in the nose … we’re talking a substantial injury. This was not a cut hand, that sort of thing, it was far more serious than that.” Who the blood belongs to, and what horror occurred inside that playhouse, still remains unsolved.
