Why I Didn’t Shower for 21 Years - This story was written by Chance Patrick and begins with a man called August describing the creepy, old woman who had moved across the road from him when he was a 12-year-old boy. He goes on to explain how the woman would constantly be watching him through his window. She was old and frail and spent the majority of her time in her wheelchair, but she still terrified him. After a while, something horrifying happened when August was taking a shower - he heard the bathroom door opening and then saw a long, bony finger on the shower curtain and someone climbed in the shower behind him. It was the old woman from across the street. He screamed and immediately jumped out of the shower and called the police.
For the next 21 years, August refused to take a shower - he only bathed. One day, while browsing the internet, August stumbled across a photo of the old woman from many years ago. She was with her husband who was also called August. He noticed that he looked exactly like her husband in his younger years. He assumed that she had met her husband when he was 12 or younger and in her old age, had got confused and believed him to be her husband. What really unnerved him, though, was how much his wife looked like the bathroom intruder as a young woman.
